Progess on UFO's and a new project

It feels like I have been quilting the Postage Stamp quilt forever!
I decided to do straight seams, which I think looks the best on such a quilt. The quilt is a queen size, so you can just imagine how many seams I've done and thread ends I had to take care of afterwards! Phew! :)
I'm happy to say the last part of quilting was done last night! After grocery shopping this morning, I decided to prepare the binding. When I took the photo, I wasn't sure I was going to add all the binding today itself, but IT'S DONE! My goal now is to finish the quilt this month!

To stay sane while quilting the Postage Stamp Quilt, I've made two place mats. I've left to hand-stitch the binding.
I still have quite some fabric left from Debbie Mumm's 'Arctic Holiday' and I love these fabrics so much that I have to make a few more projects. The idea is to make a teapot cosy and some mug rugs too.

I'm not sure if I will be able to work on these two UFO's this month...
The 'Love is' quilt is thread basted and ready to quilt.

The 'Blogger's BOM' quilt is thread basted and ready to be quilted too, but I have yet to decide on how to quilt it. I don't think it will look nice with FMQ (free motion quilting).... Perhaps I will stitch-in-the-ditch on each block... I shall see...

Every time I have to finish one of those big quilts, I'm always asking myself; 'why on earth do I have to make such a big quilt?!' LOL

You have been very busy again recently. I love your "Blogger's BOM"; I must take my blocks out and sew them into a top too. But it won't be as big as yours, that's for sure ;). Hope you are having a nice Sunday.

I have one or two quilts that I will do the straight line quilting on like you have done. I really would like to get caught up on quilting before I start making more tops, but I doubt that will happen.

Those big quilts with small pieces do take a lot of time but they look wonderful when they are done. Great to see all that you have been doing. And you know I still love that Debbie Mumm fabric!

I really like how you set the blocks for your blogger BOM quilt. I am working on the binding of my quilt.
Looks you will be busy.
