A few of too many WIP's and some finishes

HAPPY SEPTEMBER!

Can you tell me where August went?
'Winter' is over for this year, even if it doesn't feel like that this morning - it's cold on the plateau.

I've been busy - as always - and here are a some WIP's and finishes for August.

First of all, THANKS for all the comments on my previous post
I love log cabin quilts because of all the possible patterns.

I decided on #7 and swapped the blocks around until I was happy. :) Now the center is made of two different red blocks and the other are reds and greens. I've added a scrappy border too. I got the flannel for the back about 2 weeks ago, I have batting and thread... To finish it will keep me busy and out of trouble for some days! :)

Last year I sold a table runner similar to this one. I had more of these beautiful fabrics and decided to make another green table runner

... and a red one. Love these fabrics!
Ran out of fabrics for the backing - more on the way.

I've had this fabric forever and couldn't decide what to use it for. Last year I got a bargain on eBay for the red/green cones fabric (the same fabric line) and now it's soon to be a wall hanging and 4 placemats.

A coffee theme table runner - ready to be quilted.

These are only a few of my WIP's. I hope to finish them all - err... at least some of them before I start anything new!
Please remind me if I forget - lol!

Here are the finishes!

4 Santa mug rugs

2 Santa mug rugs

Santa table runner

Rooster wall hanging

Rooster mug rugs or candle mats

4 coasters

4 coasters

4 Santa coasters

2 trivets / hot pads

2 mug rugs

Whew! Didn't know I have been that busy!
I love using up bits and pieces and all these small items are made using leftovers from other projects.

It's time for tea with hubby! :)
Have a wonderful day!

I have an infinite tolerance for unfinished. There is always some new shiny toy to try. But an occasional finish is fun too, and you seem to have more finished than in progress pieces. Love the Santa on a horse fabric. And log cabin looks good. One of my favorite patterns.

You have an impressive bunch of WIPS! Always assure you have a fantastic finish waiting in the wings. :)

I have been tagged for the around the World Blog Tour. My post will come out on Monday. Basically we talk about our current project, what inspires us, etc. would it be okay if I tag you in my post? If you would be amenable, I will send you the instructions. :)
