A UFO finish and some mug rugs

Rain has stopped (at least for some days), days are slightly cooler and these two things mean only one thing: gardening. Our garden was overgrown due to all the rain and we haven't done anything outside for some weeks. No gardening when its wet! :) We've done quite a lot over the last couple of days, which feels good. My muscles are sore, but that is how it should be, isn't it?! :) Not sure I'll manage 3 days in a row...

Sewing and other inside activities have kept me busy. From my previous post I had almost finished the daffodil table topper

It's finished, sold and on its way to Norway.
This is UFO #8 from the Quilts! Quilts! Quilts! UFO Challenge. Still have some UFO's to work on, but must confess I'm tired of them! :)

After finishing 3 big quilts lately (left to hem the binding on one), I have made a few mug rugs

I found these beautiful fabrics while I was looking for something else...........

It was a fat quarter and I fussy cut those beautiful pansies. Just enough for 3 mug rugs and what was left is cut into squares.

Just enough of the coffee fabric stripe to make this mug rug. :)

My latest craze is trivets. I have made quite some and hope to get the photos done today.

Congratulations on the finish and the beautiful mug rugs. Pink isn't really my colour, but those are very pretty. The coffee mug rug is a fun one!

you are constantly sewing as I do and if not sewing outside doing something. I wouldn't want to try to garden when it is wet either, I mainly do not like it because there are too many bugs when wet. Have fun with the cooler weather

Awe, what gorgeous projects you've completed. That table topper is gorgeous. I have daffodils just starting to bloom in my Texas garden. Love those mug rugs too.
