We've had some rain over the last couple of days. I almost wrote weekend, because that's the feeling I have every day now. It feels like the weekend; very quiet on the roads, only those with permit are allowed out. It's Wednesday and April already! Lockdown is extended until April 15, then to be re-evaluated. Boutiques (small grocery stores) and supermarkets reopen tomorrow morning with very strict protocol. Shopping will be in alphabetical order and for us that means we are permitted to go shopping twice a week; Wednesdays and Saturdays. Other strict measures are put in force as well.
I'm happy in my quilting world.
I've finished the scrappy log cabin top!
It measures 80 x 96 inches. Is that an OK size for a full or double bed?
I think I'm never going to understand American bed quilt sizes! LOL
I've also been working on another scrappy UFO
This is row #5, almost done. I'm not sure what to call this one? Coin Stack, maybe?
This is NOT going to be a big size quilt, rather a lap quilt / sofa throw.
I still have lots of long strips, but not many of this size; approximately 1.5 x 3 inches. I don't think I feel for cutting more! :)
Now that we have to wear a mask while grocery shopping, I made two yesterday
I love these gecko batik! I hope the person at the supermarket's cashier is not scared of geckos! lol
RES OU LAKAZ!!! STAY AT HOME!!!

full size and double size bed mattresses are the same size I believe people just use different words for some reason. I think most say "full size" your log cabin is wonderful! (I too have lost track of what day it is in the week)
Hello Astrid,
Oh my,just love your scrappy log cabin. Have fun wearing that mask and expect someone to say do you realise you have a gecko on your face!
Happy days.
Bev.
Your log cabin top looks great. And I love the masks you have made.
We are all getting used to a lot of changes in our daily lives. I think there are a lot of things we will appreciate a lot more when this is over.
Have fun sewing. It looks like a lot of work ... but we enjoy it. It's just wonderful when something is done.
I also sewed masks - for my husband for work and for me too.
Greetings to you. Have a nice day. Viola
