I don't think I've ever showed you my never-ending cross stitching projects?
Now that I have several finishes (need to take photos!!!), I'm going to show you my current and next projects.
I'm currently stitching:
"The Tea Room" - Country Cottage Needleworks
Stitching on 28 count Natural Raw linen Zweigart
The pattern came in black & white, see it in colors here.
Correction: I WAS stitching this one, until I saw
Melisa's 'Witch Hazel's Cottage'!
It's too cute not to stitch!
Thank you for the free pattern, Melisa!
Other projects on 'Waiting' list
"Chocolate Shoppe" - Little House Needleworks
"Summer Iris" - Blackbird Designs
"But First Coffee" - Stitching Housewives
"Therapy" - Cherry Blossoms
"The Little Bunny" - Crocette a Gogo, Italy
"Holiday Samplings" - Plum Pudding Needleart
"Merry December" - Blackbird Designs
"Cinnamon Stick Santa XXV1111" - Homespun Elegance
"Miss Pittypat Pumpkin" - Kim Diehl
"Witch Stitcher" - Little Stitcher Shop, Italy
Isn't this one cute?!
"All Hallow's Eve" - Teresa Kogut (soon to order!)
Now that Kris Kringle and the Basket Quilt are almost done (left to stitch down the binding), I may take some days break from UFOs and enjoy some cross stitching. It feels relaxing working on small projects after finishing big quilts.
I also have a few Christmas gifts to make. It should keep me busy for some days!

There are too many temptations in your cross stitch collection. They all look lovely.
I embiggened your pictures so I could see the details. I wouldn't be able to choose which one to start first, although I do love the 'Therapy' and 'Coffee First' ones. I've been searching for a design that has that orientation to fit above my sewing room door so will have to explore those more.
You have so many lovely x-stitch patterns to choose from, Astrid: But, I agree,-- Melisa's witch is just adorable--makes me wish I could do counted x-stitch.
I tried starting one long ago and just couldn't figure out WHERE to begin to
get it right!! Anyway, will love to see how your little witch comes along...
Hugs, Julierose
Så mye fint! du har mye å velge i!
Oh Astrid, it is such a delight to see your projects in the works and those waiting in the wings. And I am super excited to see your progress on Witch Hazel. You have made great progress and she looks wonderful . Thank you so much for adding her to your list. You have such a wide variety of patterns to choose from ; I think I would be hard pressed to restrain myself from starting something every day. Hee! Hee! Enjoy each and every stitch and thank you again for stitching my humble design. Warm hugs.
a lot of stitchers seem to have never ending projects - sounds like me with my knitting or crochet!!
Wow – what a collection.
Well then, dear Astrid,
have fun with your stitching!
It will surely be wonderful to see some of these finished.
Wishing you a delightful cross-stitch Sunday – warm regards, Viola.
Thank you, Viola! I've been stitching today, I so enjoy Witch Hazel!
Hello Astrid! Beautiful projects! This is Marie an old penpal of yours from Tennessee (USA). I have started blogs for gardening and for my grandchildren. Would love to hear from you.
